The VTF story:

Like many before us, and many alike us, working with wood is a great passion of ours. We are so lucky to have abundant sources of knowledge and reference as well as incredibly accurate and precise tools to build the structures we will spend a great deal of our lives in. It is such a great time in our history to be able to work with, design, and build structures out of wood.

All these great tools at our disposal allow us to design, plan, and build with purpose and confidence because they give us a holistic idea of how our clients plan to use the spaces we create for them.

We have a great love for timber frame joinery. There’s something incredibly pleasing about seeing how a structure is actually tied together and how the trees that provided the timbers grew in nature that keeps us keen on creating traditional and modern timber structures.

Environmental responsibility is extremely important to us and we strive to build in the most ecologically friendly way that each unique building condition allows.
